Danny Wingfield is a CPA and the founder of Wingfield Consulting, a finance, accounting, and M&A advisory practice. He's sat on every side of the table — leading finance and accounting as an operator, evaluating targets as an acquirer, and running the process as a seller.
As VP of Finance & Corporate Development for Hellas, the largest vertically integrated sports surfacing company in North America, he was responsible for the full finance function — from company-wide budgeting and FP&A to mergers and acquisitions — supporting the company through a period of growth from $200M to $632M over the course of five years. As part of the executive leadership team, he helped guide strategic planning and the general management of the business.
On the deal side, he's worked both as a consultant and as a strategic acquirer. In transaction advisory, he performed buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings engagements. As an acquirer, he managed every workstream of deal flow — from legal and finance to tax, insurance, and HR — across a pipeline of dozens of targets evaluated and multiple closed acquisitions. In total, his closed deals represent over $500M in enterprise value.
